Dr. Ware

Like most of her peers, Dr. Ware knew at a very young age that she wanted to be a vet. Unlike her colleagues, however, she took a much longer and windier road to get to that career, initially earning a degree in political science then working in computer programming for several years. Despite her success, she was unhappy and decided to pursue a career in what she knew she would love: veterinary medicine. Dr. Ware attended vet school at UGA and earned her DVM. She initially joined The Ark Animal Hospital back in 2006 before leaving to do relief work throughout the metro area. She then spent a few years doing spay/neuter work before returning to The Ark in a part time role. Clinically, Dr. Ware has a passion for preventative care and enjoys educating clients on how to keep their pets happy and healthy.
Outside of work, Dr. Ware enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly if it involves hiking, camping, or going to the beach.
